Get to know Eddie
Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, R&B/Pop artist Eddie Andersen always saw himself pursuing music because of the impact it has made on his life. During his senior year of high school, Eddie attended The Merit School of Music in Chicago where he began his contemporary music training.
After connecting with hometown friend and LA producer Ryan Jarvis, Eddie released his debut single on Spotify, Pressure. This song paints a picture of Eddie’s struggle with his dream of pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. Eddie’s songs are steeped in reality, which sets him apart from his contemporaries. He acknowledges that everyone faces struggles and hopes to provide listeners with lyrics they can relate to.
Eddie recently worked towards mastering his artistry at Best Semester’s Contemporary Music Center in Nashville, Tennessee where he wrote and performed original songs every week. His six song EP, Alive, consists of the songs he wrote in Nashville and was released in March of 2021. Eddie is now back home in Downers Grove performing shows in the Chicagoland area featuring a mix of original music and R&B/Pop covers from artists like John Legend, John Mayer, and Allen Stone.
